Frances Mash Tindell, age 86 of Lewisburg, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at St. Thomas in Nashville. She was born June 21, 1930 in Maury County to the late Lucious and Nannie Mai Pogue Mash. She was a retired school teacher from Marshall County and a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
Frances was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Wilburn Thomas "Jake" Tindell and a brother, Billy Mash. She is survived by a son, Tommy (Ida) Tindell of the Berlin Community in Lewisburg, a daughter, Susan (Chuck) Terry also of the Berlin Community, six grandchildren, Caitlin (Cody) Messick, Thomas B. Tindell, Jacob A. Terry, Jessica (Jacob) Harber, Jonathan M. Terry, Joshua S. Terry, several nieces, nephews and aunts.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 12 noon until 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home in Lewisburg. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
A special thank you to Juanita Nicholson, Wayne Sharp, Betty Sharp Thomason and the Medical Staff for the gracious care given Mrs. Tindell.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Hampshire Graduating Class of 1948, Teaching Colleagues, The Christmas Bunch, Tim and Troy Nicholson.
