Ewell Wall

Mr. Ewell Landis Wall, age 84, of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Marshall Medical Center.
A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late Thomas Ewell Wall and Fannie Mae Tucker Wall. He was retired from Faber-Castell Corporation with 41 years of service as a production scheduler and a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Betty Barron Wall of Lewisburg, two daughters Carol Oldham and husband Dortch Oldham Jr. of Nashville, Patricia S. Wall Lee Sarber of Nashville, and a son Jon Landis Wall Donna of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by five grandchildren Andrea Brooke Oldham and Andrew Dortch Oldham of Knoxville, Joshua Landis Wall , Jacob Maxwell Wall, Rachel Teresa Wall of Maryville, TN. A cousin Juanita Sowell of Columbia, TN, brother in law and sister in law James and Ruth Barron of Gallatin, TN, Ann Barron sister-in-law of Lewisburg, and three nephews and three nieces also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Wall will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial to follow in Short Cemetery in the Springplace community with Wayne Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. and on Sunday until the funeral hour.
Pallbearers will be James Lee Allen, Ed Scott, Dawson Smith, Lewis Simmons, Jim Barron, David Barron and Bob Barron.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men's Sunday School Class at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church
