Eugene Campbell, 78, resident of Lewisburg, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 23rd at 1 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Pastor William Johnson of Greater First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Alsup Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 11 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Born on April 2, 1942 in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Grady Campbell and the late Josephine Brown Campbell. He was a retired employee of Johnson Control. Eugene was an avid golfer, and greatly enjoyed every aspect of the game.
Survivors include his brothers, Larry Campbell of Chapel Hill, Robert Campbell of Nashville; sisters, Pearlee Richardson of Lynnville, Claudia Burns of Franklin; special nieces, Carla Newbell of Arlington, Texas and Beverly Stone of Lewisburg; and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Pearl Campbell, sister, Cleo Amos, and brother, Donal Campbell.
