Ellen Elizabeth Bradford Eldridge

Ellen Elizabeth Bradford Eldridge, age 100 of Nashville, TN passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Nashville. She was born March 27, 1916 in Lewisburg, TN to the late John Calvin and Lura May Crunk Bradford. Mrs. Eldridge attended Cornersville School. She was employed by Cain Sloan and a fulltime homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She married William Kent Eldridge,Sr. on November 14,1937.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, William and daughter, Sheryl Ellen Wade.
She is survived by her children, Eve (Ted) Saal and William Kent (Elaine) Eldridge, Jr., grandchildren, Seth Cunningham, Tracy Barry, Kelly Shepard, Evie Byers and Bradie Wade Little and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 12:00 noon until 3:00In pm in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home and Crematory.
Graveside Services will be held at 3:45 pm at Short Cemetery in the Spring Place Community with Rev. Denny Shepard officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Guardian Hospice Care.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Heartland Lakeshore Community, where she was a resident and to Guardian Hospice Care for their compassion and care.
