Biography
Mrs. Elizabeth Evelyn Collins Darnell, age 82, of Lewisburg passed away on Friday, June 24th, 2011 at NHC-Lewisburg. Mrs. Darnell was a native o Perry County, AL and the daughter of the late Wilburn Collins and Gladys Sharp Collins. She was married to the late James C. Darnell, a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Lewisburg.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Billy Jean Hickman, three brothers Aaron, Hubert, James (Buddy) Collins and one grandchild Tammy Sue Darnell.
She is survived by two sons James (Sue) Darnell of Columbia, TN, Paul (Debbie) Darnell of Cornersville, three daughters Patricia (Dennis) Ring and Glinda Bryant both of Lewisburg and Sheila (David) Price of Belfast. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Darnell will be Monday June 27th, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Larry Hastings officiating with burial in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, June 26th, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
