Mrs. Elizabeth Collins
Mrs. Elizabeth Stinson Collins,87, widow of Sam Collins and a resident of Old Lake Road in Lewisburg, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Marshall Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. Collins will be conducted Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. at the Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Jeff Curtis officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Marshall County native was the daughter of the late Bob and Vertna Hobbey Stinson. She was a secretary/bookeeper and a member of the Bluff Springs Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Gayle Collins of Lewisburg, TN; a son, Glenn Collins of Dublin, GA; a grandson, Kyle Collins of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Zela Garrett of Cornersville, TN and Martha Bagley of Lewisburg, TN; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Stinson.
Pallbearers will be Glen Woodard, Chris Collins, Edwin Brown, Mike Collins, Anthony Dale, and Tony Lancaster. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Horton, Ted Beever, Paul Richardson, Eldon Brown, and Elam Collins.
