Elizabeth Cole

Nellie "Elizabeth" Brashears Powers Trammel Cole, age 80 of Lewisburg passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A native of Giles County, Mrs. Cole was the wife of Donald Cole of Lewisburg, and the daughter of the late Thomas W. Brashears and Zana Parks Brashears. She was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, James Boaz, Lindsey Boaz, Waylon Boaz, and Thomas Brashears, a sister, Lucille Pierce, and a grandson, Billy Ray Powers.
Mrs. Cole is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Robertson, four sons, Billy Powers, Thomas Powers, James (Wendi) Powers, and Joe (Lisa) Powers, one step daughter, Casey (Dennis) Tindell, one step son, Phillip Cole.Tammie Burger and Seven other grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren also survive her.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cole will be conducted on Sunday, August 18th, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home, 700 Winchester Road, N.E., Huntsville, AL. Visitation with the family will start at 12:00 Noon on Sunday and last until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. Entombment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
