Elaine Alderson

Janice Elaine Alderson, age 44 of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. She was a native of Jasper, Alabama and was the daughter of the late Melvin Doss and Mary Roberts from Lewisburg, who survives her. She was a homemaker and was a member of Farmington Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of seventeen years, Spence Alderson of Lewisburg; one daughter, Danielle Alderson; two sons, Danny Ferguson and Allen Alderson; one sister, Helen Roberts, all of Lewisburg; three brothers, Tony, Stacy, and Johnny Doss, all of Alabama, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alderson will be Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 1, 2014, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.
