Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Underwood Brannon, age 81, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at NHC Merihil.
A native of Maury County , she was the daughter of the late W.T. Underwood Sr. and Henri Edna McCord Underwood. She was a retired retail clerk for Super Rama Foods in Columbia, a member of the Campbell Station Home Demonstration Club and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brannon 2007
Her survivors include one son, Glenn Vickie Brannon of Lewisburg, TN, one daughter, Edna Annette Brannon of Lewisburg, TN, three brothers, W.T. Underwood Jr. of Ardmore, AL, Harry Underwood of Culleoka, TN and Wayne Underwood of Lynnville, TN. Two grandchildren, Heather Denton, and Daniel Brannon. A long life friend Ms. Francis Petty of Columbia, TN, and a host of Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brannon will be conducted on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM. with Reverend Bob Rush officiating, Burial will follow in the Lynnwood Cemetery in Lynnville, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 12, 2008 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
