Edith Ana Villafane

Edith Ana Villafane, age 77 passed away at her residence Tuesday morning, September 20, 2016. She was a native of Ponce, Puerto Rico and was born to the late Jose and Marcelina Torres Melendez. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Nicolas Villafane, a son, Carlos Juan Melendez and two brothers, Jose Angel Melendez and Jose Juan Melendez.
Mrs. Villafane is survived by five sons, Luciano Delgado, Jose Antonio Pagan, both of Puerto Rico, Cesar Delgado, Michigan, Angelo Villafane, Texas, Edwin Villafane, Lewisburg, TN, four daughters, Lourdes Delgado, Aurea Villafane, both of Lewisburg, TN, Sulma Lydia Pagan, Irma Villafane, both of Michigan, forty-one grandchildren, eighty-nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held at the St. Johns Catholic Church, 1061 South Ellington Parkway, Lewisburg, TN on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be conducted immediately following visitation. Burial will be at Cementreio Municipal El Yeyso in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
