Eddie Richmond, age 68, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Eddie was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and was the son of the late Clarence and Christine G. Richmond. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lewisburg.
Eddie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a cherished friend to all those who knew him. He was a champion fisherman, an accomplished golfer and a retired homebuilder.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Patty Blalock Richmond, two daughters, Sonjia (Richard) Bock and Angela (Ken) Lett, both of Knoxville, two sons, Kris (Kara) Blalock of Franklin, and Tyler (Lauren) Blalock of Brentwood, eight grandchildren, Lauren Bock, Amanda Bock, Megan Lett, Marley Lett, Mason Lett, Drew Blalock, Kannon Blalock and Turner Blalock, and one brother, Larry (Brenda) Richmond of Allen, Texas and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Saddle Creek Golf Courses clubhouse. The family will be at the clubhouse beginning at 1:00 p.m. to receive friends.
