Mrs. Dorris Faye Young Jones, age 67 of the Berlin Community, died Saturday at her residence.
The Maury county native was the daughter of the late Burk Buck Taylor Young and Annie Jones Young, and a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Columbia. She was employed with Genesco for 28 years, and until her health failed, she worked in sewing & leather with Hyperion.
Mrs. Jones is survived by three children: Edie Jones Baxter of the Berlin Community, Jeff Moore of the South Berlin Community, and Perrie Bills of Lewisburg; 2 sisters: Lois Young West of Lewisburg, and Florine Tennie Hardison of Columbia; 6 grandchildren: Chris Oliver, Farrah Oliver, Vanessa Jones, Jeremy Webb, Kenna Moore, and Jake Moore; and 1 great-grandchild: Damion Webb.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM from the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, 724 New Lewisburg Hwy, Columbia, TN, officiated by Bro. Henry M. Mobley. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery at Culleoka.
The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Monday for visitation and at the church at 12:00 noon on Tuesday.
