Claudia Mae Johnson

Ms. Claudia Mae Johnson was born February 1, 1927 to the late Lee and Hattie Johnson in Giles county. She departed this life Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at her home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 27th at 1:00 PM at Second Avenue Church of Christ with Gary Davis, eulogist. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday, August 26th from 6:00 8:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the church.

Claudia attended school in Pulaski, Tennessee and Pearl Cohn in Nashville, Tennessee. She received Christ, and was baptized at Second Avenue Church of Christ in Lewisburg, Tennessee.

Claudia was preceded in death by two sons, Andrew Johnson and Stanley Wayne Johnson; four brothers, Robert Johnson, Huston Johnson, William Johnson, Annual Johnson, and sister, Flossie Johnson Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Charles Johnson of Lewisburg, James Johnson of Nashville, Danny (Bettie) Johnson of Lewisburg; five daughters, Valoria Johnson, Deborah Johnson, Lorraine Johnson, Freida (Julian) Johnson, and Shirley (Charles) Moore, all of Lewisburg; 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren,7 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

We the family of the late Claudia Johnson would like to express our humble, gratitude and sincere appreciation to those who in one way or another provided our family with the support and prayers that comforted us in our time of sorrow. Thank you to the health care professionals, Dr. Michael Davidson, Dr. Vincent, and Willowbrook Hospice nurses and techs who cared for our mother.
