Biography
Christine G. Turner, age 82 of Lewisburg passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at NHC-Lewisburg. A native of Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Jim R. Guthrie and Iona Reece Guthrie. She was married for 53 years to the late Richard Roy Turner who passed away in 2004. In addition to her parents and husband, three sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
Two sisters Virgelene Arnold Utz of Murfreesboro, TN and Bobbie (Frank) Miller of Belfast and several nieces and nephews survive her.
Funeral services for Mrs. Turner will be Tuesday, August 14th, 2012 from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home at 1:30 P.M. with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville, TN. Family visitation will be Monday, August 13th, 2012 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
