Charles Brannon

December 7, 1924 — May 11, 2007

Mr. Charles Alexander Brannon, age 82 of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, May 11th, 2007 at NHC Lewisburg following a brief stay.

He was the son of the late Will & Murdie Brannon. Eight brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Underwood Brannon, one daughter, Edna Annette Brannon of Lewisburg and one son & daughter-in-law Glenn & Vickie Brannon of Lewisburg. Two grandchildren, Heather & Daniel Brannon of Lewisburg, several nieces & nephews and a dear friend, Francis Petty of Columbia also survive Mr. Brannon.

Mr. Brannon was a member of Lynnville Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army as a Paratrooper and serving in Japan in the Quartermaster supply depot during
World War II.

Funeral services for Mr. Brannon will be conducted on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Bills - McGaugh Funeral Home with Bob Rush officiating and burial to follow in Lynnwood Cemetery in Lynnville, TN.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday, May 12, 2007 from 4:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. and also on Sunday after 1:00 P.M.

Pallbearers are Bobby Sampson, Billy Underwood, Jimmy Underwood, Bill Fulghum & Marty Middleton.

Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
