Carl Davis

Carl Hixon Davis, age 80 of Lewisburg, TN passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at his home. He was born in Washington, D.C. on November 12th, 1932. He was the son of the late William Davis and Irene Hamm Davis. He held a B. S. degree from Hillsboro College in Tampa, FL. He was a retired Air Force veteran serving in the Korean conflict and a member of the Methodist church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years Sandra Lee Davis in 2004, one son Buddy Davis, one sister Joan Gustafson and his dog "Big Boy" Rascal. He is survived by one daughter Karla Hargrove of Lewisburg, one son Patrick (Stella) Davis of Bristol, VA, two grandchildren Brandy (Jason) Davis of Lewisburg, Kathy Davis of Arkansas and four great-grandchildren and one sister Joyce Herndon of Fort Pierce, FL.
Mr. Davis will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 20th, 2013 at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home at 5:30 P.M. with full military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 3:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
