Mrs. Bonnie Mae Ayers, age 64 of Lewisburg, died Wednesday afternoon at her residence.
A native of Marshall Co, she was the daughter of the late Bonnie Thomas and Rosie Mae Fitzgerald Stinnett, and a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Ayers family recalls her love for needlework and flowers, but she will be remembered most for her love of her children and grandchildren. Preceding her in death were two sons: Billy Wayne Stinnett and Robert Doyle Ayers, and a sister: Pat Lentz.
She is survived by five children: Ray Stinnett of Lewisburg, Kathy McNeese of Culleoka, Deborah Charlene Poarch, Pearly Baker, and James Ayers, all of Lewisburg; 5 sisters: Glenda Stinnett, Grace Hopwood, Betty Stinnett, Joyce Stinnett, and Reba Hargrove, all of Lewisburg; 11 grandchildren: Jason Stinnett, Rachel Smithson, Bonnie Stinnett, Renae Poarch, Charles Poarch, Jeremey Poarch, Joshua Ayers, Patrick Rich, Kayla Rich, Jennifer Rose Melton, and Nathan James Ayers; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery at Talley Station.
The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home Friday after 9:00 AM for visitation.
