Bobby Lee Davis

Bobby Lee Davis, age 72 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Stuart-Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast, Florida. Mr. Davis was born in Lewisburg, TN in 1944 to the late John Leeper and Dorothy Ann Lancaster Davis and was a previous employee of the Mead Containers Corp. He served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War and Desert Storm.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebecca Joy Davis; two brothers, Paul Davis and Buddy Davis; and one great grandchild, Janie Marie Isley.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Martha Smithson Davis, Ormond Beach, FL ; one son, Alex (Sarah) Davis, Franklin, TN; one daughter, Robin (Virgus Ewing) Davis of Lewisburg, TN; two step-sons, John Parr and Jason (Becky) Parr, both of Columbia, TN; one step-daughter, Jennifer Stidham of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters, Lena Ann (Bill) Jones of DeLeon Springs, FL, Bessie Marie (Clayton) King of Lewisburg, TN, and Mary Lynn Deuermeyer of Lewisburg, TN. Three grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation with the family will be held at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home on Sunday, January 1, 2017, from 4 PM until 8 PM. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017, at 11 AM at Rock Springs Cemetery in Columbia, TN with Tony Lancaster officiating.
