Billye McConnelle

Mrs. Billye Bryant McConnelle, age 90, passed away Saturday, February 05, 2011 at NHC-Lewisburg. A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Baxter Bryant and Jennie Maude Walker Bryant. She was married to the late Oscar McConnelle who died in 2001 and the late Robert Bob Loyd who died in 2007.

She retired from Peoples & Union Bank with forty-seven years of service where she was secretary to five bank presidents. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Funeral services for Mrs. McConnelle will be Monday, February 7th, 2011 from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeff Eason officiating. Burial will take place in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M.

One nephew Stephen Bryant of Mississippi and one niece Cheryl Crim of Flintville, TN, survive her.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Bill Marsh, Eddie Wiles, Glenn Hardison, Joe Martin, Mike Spence and Marty Genesi.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg.
