Audrey Marie McCarthy Jackson, 84, of Tullahoma, Tennessee died Saturday, February 5, 2005.
She lived in Louisville, KY for 58 years; Jensen Beach, FL for 19 years; Stuart, FL for 5 years; Lewisburg for about 1 year and Tullahoma for her last year. She worked as secretary for the Typographical Union in Louisville for many years before she retired.
A native of Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Eugene & Stella OConnor McCarthy.
Mrs. Jackson was a former member of American Turners of Louisville and performed in their Circus for many years, and a member of the National Federation for the Blind. She loved to show dogs, square dance, and was active in Florida with the Retired SeaBees.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Riley Jackson, Sr. in 2000, and by a son, Eugene E. Jackson, in 1964.
Survivors include two daughters, Bettie Rawe of Lewisburg, and Carol Miller of Louisville, KY; a son Carl R. Jackson, Jr. of Louisville, KY; three granddaughters; and 11 great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial Mass at Holy Family Church, 3926 Poplar Level Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40213, on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. The Mass has been delayed to give relatives in Germany and other distant places in the US time to gather.

She will rest beside her husband in the Florida National Cemetery for Military Burial, Bushnell, Florida.
