Annie Bivins

Biography Mrs. Annie Pearl Crunk Bivins, age 96 of Cornersville, passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Nora Wise Crunk and William Willis Crunk. She was manager of Kuhn's Five & Dime for seventeen years and was a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Bivins in 1974, five brothers Wise, Bill, Paul, Wilburn, Thomas Crunk and two sisters Mildred Pigue and Mary Elizabeth Bivins.

Survivors include one son James Ricky Bivins of Gulf Shores, AL, two granddaughters Crystal Bivins Lee of Shelby, AL, Laura Walker of Calera, AL, one grandson James Thomas Henry Bivins of Bessemer, AL, three great-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mrs. Bivins will be Thursday, September 15 at 2:00 P.M. at Lone Oak Cemetery with Mark Irvin officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg Memorial Fund.
